Canyon Corridor Home Repair Program


 


PHOENIX REVITALIZATION CORPORATION (PRC) in partnership with Grand Canyon University, is pleased to provide the Canyon Corridor Revitalization Project (CCRP).  This project provides revitalization support for the Canyon Corridor community within the above target area.

A major component of the CCRP is the “MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM aimed to assist homeowners within the target area to improve the health, safety, efficiency and beautification of their homes. Applications are accepted year-round on a first come, first serve basis for a maximum of $2,500 per home and as long as funding is available.  These funds are through a grant and the home owner is asked to consider volunteer hours to a local organization for an event or program over the next year in recognition of receiving these funds.

HOME REPAIR COULD INCLUDE:

  • Replacing or installing interior and/or exterior doors (including security doors), windows, and locks for safety.
  • Replacing bath and /or kitchen fixtures, installing ceiling fan(s), and repairing heating/cooling system for home efficiency.  Minor painting projects.
  • Minor landscaping, fence repair, exterior home repair for neighborhood beautification.

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Homes must be owner occupied in the Canyon Corridor target area (see map below)
  • Special circumstances will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
  • Applicant must meet the 80% Income Limits (see chart below)
